William Raveis has sent a request to resume work on their office at 48-50 Main Street. They are under a cease and desist order placed by the Building Department.
This property has a historic easement established by John Reynolds when he was the developer that preserved these properites. The exteriors are required to remain unchanged and one of the easements specifically prohibits metal gutters.
It is my opinion that they need to hire a professional that has the skills to do the necessary work and do it right so that the easement is not violated.
